Luchsingers a Cappella

Who We Are

Luchsingers a Cappella, from Agnes Scott College, is the first and only student-led a cappella group on the Agnes Scott campus. Our unique collaborative process encourages ownership and leadership from all members. Among us are fourteen women hailing from San Fracisco to Gainesville, Fl. and everywhere in between! We have a variety of training backgrounds, but find our common ground around the piano in the campus center lounge. Together we perform frequently at a wide variety of on campus and off campus events, making us the most versatile and widely used group on campus. Our recording project last May, Kind of a Big Deal, was our second studio-recorded CD.

What We're Up To

Taking a break for the summer -- stay tuned.

Auditions will be held in the Fall.

Our second CD, Kind of a Big Deal, has been released!

About Our Name

Six years ago, a group of students got together and created the first student-led a cappella ensemble at Agnes Scott, remembered fondly as "Untitled." That first semester, they learned one song, On Children.  All the original members of Untitled have now graduated, and thus, Untitled has ceased to exist, and Luchsingers, named after the Luchsinger Fireplace Lounge which is our beloved rehearsal space, is the continuation of the student-led a cappella tradition.
